Hi guys I’m Joel, the writer and director of The Thespian, a horror/thriller about the depth and depravity that some will go to in order to make it in Hollywood!

This is my first feature film and everything I’ve been working towards for the past 13 years. I self financed the film to this point by working 2 jobs, selling my paintings, as well as my collection of sports cards, memorabilia and comic books collected over my life time!

But due to unforeseen cost while filming; our small but mighty film needs help getting across the finish line to complete and ready to submit to the major festivals!!

Your contribution would help us be able to make final payments to my awesome cast and crew in a timely and professional manner. Would also help us with the editing, coloring, sound mastering, in order to match the quality of the cast’s performances and crews work of lighting and capturing the film! Annnd of course the festival fees.

I know it’s not the time for a middle age white guy in California to be asking anyone for anything! Please know I respect that completely, but I’m not only asking for myself but on behalf of my dedicated and passionate cast and crew who all aim to benefit financially off the possible success of the film!
