Hi, my name is Charlene Gayle, from Parottee, St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, living in New York. When Hurricane Melissa tore across Western Jamaica, it didn't just take down trees and power lines. It hit entire communities hard, and left my family in disarray. I am kindly asking for any donation to help my oldest brother Prenton Linton rebuild his home in Parottee, about a 10 minute drive from Black River town. He lives close to the beachfront in Parottee and has lost everything that he owned because of the hurricane. The entire community was completely destroyed, and many of my family members and friends are now facing homelessness. Above are photos of my brother, Prenton, standing and looking at what was once his home. Any contribution will be deeply appreciated as he tries to rebuild a new home for him and his children. Please also feel free to share this post, as any kind of support would make a big difference. Thank you!
