Help Prem Kumar Zakkam Recover from a Devastating Car Accident

I'm reaching out to you with a heavy heart to share the story of my cousin, Prem Kumar Zakkam, who recently suffered a severe car accident. In a tragic moment, his life was turned upside down, leaving him with multiple fractures, including a broken right leg and right arm. He is currently in MCG Hospital, Augusta, recovering from surgery but facing a long and challenging road to recovery without insurance.

Prem is a kind, loving, and calm-natured person, known for his genuine spirit and deep faith in God. As a student pursuing his master’s degree, Prem has always been dedicated to his studies and had big dreams of making a difference in his field. His bright future now depends on extensive therapy and rehabilitation to regain his mobility and strength.

One of the most pressing challenges we face is that Prem does not have health insurance. This has made an already difficult situation even more overwhelming, as the costs of surgery, therapy, and ongoing medical care are mounting rapidly. His parents, who live in India, are heartbroken and struggling to manage this overwhelming situation from afar. The costs of surgery, therapy, and ongoing medical care are mounting quickly, and while we, as a family, are contributing everything we can, it’s simply not enough.

Prem urgently needs to begin rehabilitation, and we need to raise $50,000 to cover these immediate medical expenses. Every dollar will go directly towards his care—helping him get the therapy he desperately needs, and ensuring that he has the best possible chance to recover and return to his studies and dreams.

Prem is currently waiting for a rehab facility to accept him, and time is of the essence. We humbly ask for your support during this difficult time.
