On January 15, our coworker and dear friend Preeti was struck by a car while walking to work in Eastern Passage. She sustained serious injuries and is currently in the hospital facing a long and challenging road to recovery.

Preeti is a valued member of our daycare family—kind, dedicated, and always bringing warmth and care to the children and families she works with. This unexpected accident has turned her life upside down.

As Preeti focuses on healing, her parents are in the process of completing the necessary paperwork to travel to Canada so they can be by her side during this incredibly difficult time. The financial burden of medical recovery, missed wages while she is unable to work, and costs related to supporting her family is significant.
