PreciousGift is a Black Nigerian trans woman currently living in Nigeria who is navigating the aftermath of assault, injury, and homelessness. After being forcibly evicted from her home, she is now without stable shelter and exposed to ongoing risk in an unsafe and abusive environment. Securing safe housing is urgent and essential to her physical recovery, emotional wellbeing, and personal safety.

She is a skilled makeup artist who takes pride in her work and creativity. However, her ability to earn a living has been severely limited. The few freelance gigs she is able to access are irregular and insufficient to cover basic needs such as rent, food, and healthcare. Despite actively seeking employment and using her professional skills, she has repeatedly been denied opportunities due to widespread and systemic discrimination against trans women in Nigeria.

This fundraiser is to help PreciousGift meet her most immediate needs which includes safe housing (renting a place to live), basic necessities (food and medical bills), and short-term stability. With your support, she can move out of danger, focus on healing, and begin rebuilding her life.
