Hi everyone. This is honestly one of the hardest posts I’ve ever had to make. I am a single mom currently pursuing my MBA, and I am expected to graduate in May 2027. I have worked extremely hard to get this far, maintained good grades, balanced work and motherhood, and continued pushing forward even during some of the hardest moments of my life. Recently, I was denied my Grad PLUS loan, and now I am facing a tuition balance for my summer semester that I cannot afford to pay out of pocket. I’ve cried, stressed, prayed, and tried to figure this out on my own because giving up on my degree is not something I want to do. I have sacrificed so much trying to create a better future for my daughter and me, and I am so close to reaching my goals. As difficult as this season has been for me emotionally and financially, I am still trying to hold onto my faith, remain hopeful, and continue believing that better days are ahead for my daughter and me. I am not asking because I’m lazy or unwilling to work. I work hard every single day. I am asking because sometimes even hardworking people need help.
