Hi everyone,
I’m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my sister-in-law, Precious Day, a truly incredible woman who needs all the love and support she can get right now. Precious is 36 years old and the definition of selfless. She’s been a single mom to two boys, one of whom has severe diabetes and requires ongoing medical care. And as if that wasn’t enough responsibility, three years ago, Precious stepped up in a major way—without hesitation—when her sister lost custody of her five children. She opened her heart and her home to all five, raising seven kids on her own with no complaints, no excuses—just love.
Now she’s facing the hardest battle of her life.
Precious was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer, and it’s already spread to her lymph nodes. She’s had to leave her job due to the overwhelming number of doctor’s appointments, tests, and the start of what will be an intense treatment journey.
She’s doing everything she can to stay strong—not just for herself, but for the seven children who look to her as their entire world. But between gas money just to get to treatment, groceries, bills, and the crushing weight of everything happening at once… she’s struggling.
Precious has always been the one to help others. She’s the one people call when they’re in trouble. The one who never says no, even when she doesn’t have much to give. And now, she’s the one who needs help. She’s also deeply involved in our local community—serving on the board for the Lehigh Raiders, where she helps organize youth football and cheerleading. The kids are active in the program, and she’s always the first to show up, volunteer, and make sure the kids in our community have a safe, structured, and positive environment to grow.
We’re asking—if you can find it in your heart to donate, even a little, it would mean everything. Every dollar counts. It goes toward her medical expenses, transportation, utilities, and basic needs while she fights for her life and tries to hold her family together.
And if you can’t donate, please share this story. You never know who might see it and want to help.
Precious is an amazing mother, sister, and human being. She wouldn’t hesitate to help someone else—and now is our chance to show her that she’s not alone in this.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for helping us support someone who means so much to so many.
With love,
Mia
