HELP PRECIOUS & FAVOUR GRADUATE MEDICAL SCHOOL
Donation protected
We are sisters by the names Precious & Favour Anthony and we are medical students at All Saints University. It has been part of our dream to be doctors for a long time. Precious aspires to be a cardiologist; she developed an interest in this field due to high prevalence of chronic hypertension and cardiac related diseases in Nigeria. While Favour aspires to be a Pediatric surgeon because of her love for kids and desire to serve as an advocate for kids, in the medical field. The road to becoming one has been very difficult and fraught with challenges. In 2017 while we were doing our basic sciences in Dominica, we experienced a category 5 hurricane that resulted in us losing all of our clothes & personal belongings. We have kept on this journey through the grace of God and encouragement of good people, knowing it would pay off.
Our financial difficulty started back in 2014 when our parents separated and the situation was further complicated when our mom later lost her business to our dad in the process. Due to the unfair treatment of women in Nigeria, she wasn’t able to get the business back and as a result it has been difficult for her to financially support her 5 kids.
During the breaks from school caused by the financial inconsistency, we have spent our time volunteering at hospitals and clinics. We did this to keep doing what we love and take the focus from our own problems and help serve our communities and the people around us. Precious is down to her final 2 semesters & Favour has 4 semesters and a month left. At this point we have completely run out of resources.
We are reaching out to ask for help to complete our Medical journey. Whatever you are able to give would be a huge blessing. We understand that not anyone would be able to donate but sharing this would be of great help as well. Thank you for helping us achieve our goal of becoming Medical doctors.
The $55,000 will be used to cover both of our remaining semester tuition as well as examination fees that are required for graduation.
