Our Colleague, Prashanth Rao, fell victim to COVID-19 and unexpectedly passed away at a young age. Prashanth leaves behind his wife Savitha, 2 kids (ages 10 and 15) and his parents. Prashanth's untimely death has caused an extreme emotional and financial loss to his whole family.
Even though they were taking precautions, Prashanth's family caught the virus during the current COVID-19 wave in India. While taking care of his family, Prashanth also got infected and his condition deteriorated. He got admitted to the hospital and then to ICU, and a few days later unfortunately passed away.
This is a tremendous loss to his family and nothing can replace his role as a Husband, Father and Son. Prashanth was the primary earner in his family and this fundraiser is our small effort to help his family through these tough times.
Prashanth's family lives in Bengaluru, India. I, Vimal Chopra, am his Manager. I live in USA and am hosting this fundraiser on behalf of his family. I will transfer all contributions from this fundraiser to Prashanth's wife in India.
