Help Pradhan Continue His Counseling Journey

Hi, my name is Pradhan Thandra, and I come from Hyderabad, India. After more than a decade of serving in the church and working in public health, I felt a clear calling to become a counselor, especially to support those facing grief, trauma, and emotional struggles across diverse communities.

I began my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling at Trinity International University in Illinois, where I was awarded a 60% scholarship. That scholarship made it financially possible for me to pursue this calling. However, the school recently announced its sudden closure. The first-year students in our department were asked to transfer immediately.

I’ve been accepted into Wheaton College to complete my degree. But because of the late timing in the admission cycle, Wheaton is unable to offer institutional scholarships to transfer students like me. This means I’ve lost the support that made my education possible.

Despite working on campus and seeking help from family, church, and friends, the financial gap remains steep. My tuition cost for the year is $18,600, and I aim to raise 60% of the cost - $11,160.
