Help Powell Hammond Get Life-Saving Surgery

My uncle, Powell Hammond, is currently facing an urgent medical emergency. With 3 main arteries to his heart between 80% - 100% blocked, Powell is in need of a triple bypass surgery. In his current state, his heart is not being supplied with near enough blood, oxygen, or nutrients.

Powell was sent to Baylor Scott & White in Plano at the beginning of September and was given an operation date of October 3rd by the ONLY surgeon who would consider attempting the surgery due to the severity and risk of the operation.

The total cost for this operation is $190,000. Powell does not have insurance, so he gets a 40% discount, making his part $120,000. He does not live in the Plano area, so he does not qualify for any local charity. Without $60,000 up front, by October 3rd, his surgery will be cancelled. This operation is necessary for life—as you know, without a properly functioning heart, the rest of his body will begin to shut down.
