Hi friends,

This is Potato, my sweet 7-year-old White German Shepherd and the gentlest soul you’ll ever meet. She’s always been my little shadow—true to her breed, she’s a "velcro dog" through and through, never far from my side and always eager to “supervise” every task around the house.

Lately, though, her joyful spirit has been dimmed. Potato has been diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia, and it's now affecting her day-to-day life in heartbreaking ways. She’s in visible discomfort, struggling to move like she used to, and even her favorite things—like chasing balls, playing at the dog park, and happily trotting behind me—have become too painful for her.

Despite it all, she still carries the spark and puppy-like energy that makes everyone fall in love with her. She has so much life left to live, and I want nothing more than to help her live it without pain.

We’re raising funds to cover the cost of her surgery and after care. This will not only relieve her pain but also give her the chance to get back to doing all the things she loves—and to simply be her bouncy, happy self again.
