Cindi's Recovery and Home Repair

Cindi is an incredible mother, teacher, community member, and mentor. On January 12, 2017, she had a stroke leaving her unable to work and provide for the family. Cindi has spent her entire life dedicated to helping those around her. Cindi’s perseverance through some of life’s greatest tragedies is an indicator of her work ethic, diligence, and capacity for self-innovation and self-improvement. After the passing of her husband from Pancreatic Cancer, she was tasked with raising two daughters, Tracy and Julia, as a single mother. However, managed to go back to school to obtain a Master’s degree in Education to peruse her dream of becoming a teacher.

 

Since her stroke, Tracy and Julia have taken on the responsibilities of the home by paying bills and managing the home and are in need of financial assistance. The family is asking for money to aid the payment of medical bills and replace a broken washing machine and leaking roof. By relieving the financial worries, her family will have more time to focus on Cindi’s recovery and help her live a happy, healthy life so she can get back to crafting, quilting, and working with the community.
