Poseidon has been my loyal companion for nearly 19 years. Recently, he developed severe pain in his back, and after consulting with our veterinarian, I learned that surgery is not an option for him. His frail health and a heart murmur mean he would not survive such an operation. It’s heartbreaking, but the kindest and most loving choice is to help him cross over peacefully at home, surrounded by those who love him most.

The funds raised will allow a veterinarian to come to our home and help Poseidon cross over with dignity. Afterward, his remains will be cremated with care, so I can keep his memory close. This is an incredibly difficult time, and I want to make sure Poseidon’s final moments are filled with comfort and love.
