The Portsmouth School of Wrestling is a Portsmouth based pro wrestling school catering for all ages, kids through adults, all different shapes, sizes and all levels of ability. Not only is it a Wrestling School, it's a community. A place where people can forget about their outside worries, have fun with friends and get fit whilst doing it!
On Wednesday 18th March we closed our doors on our last session due to Covid-19.
When we closed our doors it was never a question of 'if' we would come back, but instead 'when'. Unfortunately that 'when' has proven to be a lot further away than we could have imagined.
Whilst we were determined to make it through without asking for support, we've reached a stage now where we're starting to get nervous. We're still paying full rent on a building that has been untouched in 3 months & have a number of additional overheads associated with operating a business (none of these overheads are salaries and all money will go into keeping the school open)
To close we want to thank everyone for their support not just now, but over the years and want to stress that whilst we hate to do this, we would hate even more to lose the school & lose the great escape for so many people.
