—UPDATE— We hit our target (and more). Thank you all for your generosity and expressions of support. We are going to continue to evaluate the need and may re-open the fundraiser at a later date. Thank you, again!

On behalf of the Security Team in Porto Alegre, we are hosting a gofundme to raise money for the contract local guard force members who have suffered a complete loss of their homes and personal effects. The flooding in Rio Grande do Sul, is the being reported as the worst natural disaster in the state's history. As you may already know, our contract family members are not candidates of the many resources afforded our directly employed locally engaged teams.

That said, your donations will be processed to my bank account and converted to the local currency sharing platform so seven LGF team members impacted by this crisis can start to rebuild.

It is worth mentioning, one of the worst off members of the team, despite his home being completely destroyed the day before, reported to work and stood his post the very next day. We need to do what we can.

Please feel free to contact me or any of the Brazil based team for any questions you might have.

Very best,

Tim R. in Brazil
