URGENT: Help Us Care for Porter’s Orphaned Kittens

Last week, we rescued a sweet mama cat named Porter and her four newborn kittens from the streets. Just one week old, the kittens were still nursing and entirely dependent on their mother’s love and care.

Tragically, Porter began showing signs of serious illness almost immediately after rescue. She was rushed to VEG Cambridge, where she was diagnosed with feline panleukopenia (feline parvo)—a deadly and highly contagious virus.

Porter was placed in intensive care. We fought alongside her with everything we had.

Update (Monday, June 9): We received the devastating news that Porter was no longer responding to treatment. She declined rapidly, and we made the heartbreaking decision to switch to comfort measures. Porter passed peacefully.

Now her kittens are orphans. Though currently stable, they are incredibly fragile and require round-the-clock bottle feeding, warmth, and monitoring just to stay alive. They are far too young to survive without constant care.
