Help Keep Port-A-Pet Rolling After Tragedy
My name is Trevon, owner of Port-A-Pet.
Many of you know me as the guy who’s available at all hours of the day and night to help families get their pets where they need to go—whether it’s an emergency trip to the ER, a scheduled vet appointment, or helping someone who simply has no other way to transport their best friend.
This past weekend my family suffered an unimaginable loss. My nephew was tragically killed in a shooting, and we’ve been left grieving while searching for answers.
Days after the shooting , I was driving to speak with the news media about my nephew. My children were with me, and I was telling them how proud I was of how strong they had been through everything we were experiencing. I was emotional and crying. The next thing I knew, I looked up and heard my daughter screaming, “Daddy!”
Our Port-A-Pet vehicle was involved in a serious crash.
Thankfully, my children and I as well as the other driver survived, and for that I thank God every single day. But the vehicle that keeps my business running suffered significant damage.
Since going full-time with Port-A-Pet last year, this business has been my family’s livelihood. More importantly, it’s become a service that so many people in our community depend on. We’ve transported countless pets during emergencies, helped elderly and disabled owners, and been there when families had nowhere else to turn.
Right now, I don’t have the financial means to replace or repair the vehicle on my own while still supporting my family.
If Port-A-Pet has ever helped you, someone you know, or if you simply believe in supporting a small business that’s dedicated to serving others, I’m asking for your help.
Every donation—no matter the amount—will go toward:
* Repairing or replacing our transport vehicle
* Keeping Port-A-Pet operating full-time
* Continuing emergency and scheduled pet transportation throughout our community
If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean the world to me.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your prayers, your support, and for believing in Port-A-Pet.
When You Can’t, We Can. ❤️
