Greetings, friends and community builders! I'm Gerard, and I'm super excited to share an exciting opportunity to support our beloved local gathering spot, Port. Together, we can transform it into a dynamic community hub where people can gather, socialise, and connect.

Port is a coffee shop and retail space, focused on supporting and championing our local creators and producers in North East England. I've always had the dream of a store which is truly social and community engaged, and because of the wonderful customers I have in store daily Port is just about there. It has become the heart of our community, serving as a welcoming space for neighbours, friends, and new faces to come together. I believe in the power of shared experiences and fostering connections, and now we're ready to take it to the next level.

The vision is to expand Port, transforming it into a vibrant meeting space that offers more than just coffee and snacks. We aim to create an environment where everyone feels welcome, valued, and inspired to engage with one another. With your support, we can bring this vision to life.

By raising £2500, we will be able to expand our kitchen facilities to cater to wider range, including brunch and evening meals. In doing so, this will help to make the out of hours programs I want to run feasible, including artist hang outs, community groups and classes among other fun events. I will also be able to improve our audiovisual capabilities for events, meaning we have the capability to support a more dynamic types of events. We want to offer a diverse range of programming that caters to all interests and encourages meaningful connections.

By building a vibrant community hub, we'll foster opportunities for collaboration, learning, and personal growth.
