Help Porkchop get Xrays.
Hello everyone. My name is Priley and I am the proud owner of my own small group of birds. Recently however one of my birds started to show some odd signs and was promptly taken to a vet.
We learned that the Greencheek Conure named Pork had a infection and he was given meds, however he soon stopped eating his normal meals which resulted in him being rushed to an urgent care vet facility. At this time Pork is stable but they said he will need more tests to ensure he is clear and the infection was not secondary to any other issues. We have already had covered some large expenses for tests done (Bloodwork, emergency cost, stool sample, swabs) but the Xray and last few blood tests are not gonna be cheap.
No matter what he will get the tests needed to ensure his well being, however I was advised to reach out and see if anyone can help in these times. I thank you all for taking the time to read this and even sharing it. Please wish Pork the best.
