Help Poppy have a fighting chance.

Hi my name is Lisa and I'm fundraising to try and help little Poppy with her medication that very much needed and She has only just turned 1 years old.

On the 6th on June I noticed she was limping and booked appointment at my local vet as I just assumed she had hurt her leg.

With going to the appointment she was given pardale_v for pain relief and x-ray booked in for that coming Monday.

With returning home that morning I noticed later on in the evening she wasn't very stable and was walking in to furniture etc. And thought maybe she was reacting to the new medication she was given.

Early the next morning I decided to call the vets again and said I'm starting to think the problem is more then her leg, it's almost as she is blind.

They asked if I could bring her back in, on examination the vet had confirmed she was blind and performed a few test and had started pralisis all down her left side of her body.

My local vet had said I need to get her to Hampshire specialist hospital immediately.

Leaving the vet and traveling 1 and a half hours to the specialist she had been referred to, her condition was worsening.

After the specialist had examined her they had told me that they needed to do aggressive corse of kemo and iv drip administrated and keep her in to monitor her.

After a few days she seemed to have responded well to treatment and was eeven shoeing signs that she had some vision, as you can imagine I was made up.

I was told I could collect her a few days later and was given prescription to buy cyclavance and a bottle of sterioids.

Bringing her home I was so excited that she was starting to recover a few side effects from the medication which was to be expected, but otherwise heading in the right direction.

A few weeks in and I noticed she started to relapse and called the specialist right away they ask me to bring her back in so that they can repeat the kemo. She has been back a week and responding well yet again.

The specialist had said she has neurology disorder which will require medication to suppress her immune system as its attacking its self.

We have tried a few different medication that the specialist had suggested. But the outcome maybe that she will only responded to kemo fingers crossed this isn't the case. The kemo is 370 pound each time

I had her insured for 2000 a year and never I'm my wildest dreams would I imagine how much all this treatment would cost. We have already used all her insurance money and more.

I'm seeking out for anybody that would like to help try and raise as much as we can so that we can buy more medication and kemo if needed, so it will give the specialist a chance to be able to find the right medication, as its all trail and error at the moment.

Would like to say a big thank you to anybody that has taken the time to read poppy's story and a massive thank-you if you would be kind enough to make a small donation it would be massively appreciated try and give pops the best chance in life. ❤️❤️
