Our 3-year-old cat Poppy has been a beloved part of our family since she was a kitten. Since October, she has been struggling with ongoing health issues that have been both emotionally and financially challenging for us. At first, the vet believed she had a blood parasite, so we started her on antibiotics and hoped for the best. Over the past year, we have spent a significant amount trying to get her healthy again, but her condition has continued to worsen.

Recently, we learned that Poppy likely has FIP, a serious illness that requires immediate treatment. Before she can begin her FIP treatment, she needs a blood transfusion, which is expected to be very expensive. We want nothing more than to give Poppy the chance she deserves, but we simply cannot afford these costs on our own.
