Help a Disabled Creator Keep Medical Stability & Move to Safety

Hi everyone,

In case you don’t already know me, my name is Popi (also known as Lyrium / Leon), and this is my fiancé Toast (Nyx). We’ve both been part of the Twitch and Tumblr creative spaces for years, and asking for help like this is incredibly difficult — but we are at a critical point.

After over half a decade of stable living, my medical stability is being abruptly taken away.

Loss of Medical Coverage

I am disabled with several serious neurological and chronic pain conditions, including:

Epilepsy

Chronic migraines

Fibromyalgia

For years, these conditions were managed well enough that I could attend college, do limited work on the side, create art, stream, and maintain hobbies. That stability is now at risk.

Recently, Kentucky Medicaid decided they will no longer cover my medications. These medications are not optional — they are what keep my seizures controlled, my pain survivable, and my migraines from being constant and debilitating.

All of my disability income already goes directly to bills. I do not have the ability to suddenly pay for these medications out of pocket. Without them, my conditions will no longer be managed, undoing years of progress and putting my health and safety at risk.

Why We Need to Move

Nyx lives in New England, where my family, friends, and support system are. We were forced to move away in 2022, and since then I’ve been stuck on a severely fixed income in a state where:

my healthcare is being stripped away

I have no nearby support system

I cannot save money due to medical and living expenses

At this point, I can’t even afford my medication — let alone save for a move — but staying here is no longer safe or sustainable.

To be fully transparent, we’ve put together two realistic housing options depending on availability.

Down payment: $3,000

U-Haul: $1,243

Gas for drive: $350

Manufactured Home (Trailer) Option

Down payment: $4,000 – $8,000

What This Fund Covers

Funds raised will go directly toward:

maintaining access to essential medical care

covering relocation costs

securing stable housing near family and support

preventing a total loss of medical stability

This isn’t about luxury or extras.

This is about survival, medical safety, and dignity.
