Hi everyone,

My name is Elisha Perkins, and I’m part of Pop Smoke K9 for Veterans, a nonprofit dedicated to helping veterans heal through the strength and loyalty of service dogs.

I’m reaching out for help with a special mission getting Romeo, one of our amazing service dogs, safely to his new home in Colorado. His new handler is a Mental Health Therapist for Veterans who not only needs Romeo as her own service dog but will also use him in her therapy practice to help other veterans.

I’ll be traveling with Romeo to personally deliver him and ensure his smooth transition into his new home. This trip will also serve as the first field test of Pop Smoke’s new app, designed to help veterans be more involved in their service dog’s training, progress, and connection even from a distance.

We’re asking for your support to help cover airfare, hotel stay, and travel expenses while Romeo settles in and we ensure everything goes smoothly. This is a big step for our program, and your generosity will help make it possible.
