Get Fergy Home

Fergy and Ruthann made their annual trip from Ocean Grove to Port St. Lucie, FL, in January. Both were healthy and looking forward to the sunshine and reuniting with old friends.  Bill was especially looking forward to attending Mets spring training baseball games.

While in Florida, Fergy began to experience pain in his right hip. He was examined at a local hospital and was subsequentlyadmitted to the hospital on February 13th .  Diagnosis of his hip revealed that he has Large Cell Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma.

Bill is currently in the ICU unit unable to walk and is on oxygen. We are trying to get him home as soon as possible to be with his family and friends.

Our family has been advised by doctors that due to his health condition, he cannot travel home by vehicle, so we are exploring medical transportation options, optimally a medical ICU air ambulance.

There are a lot of hurdles to climb over to get this done.  We have been asked by many of his friends how can you help.  The family is asking for help with medical transport costs to transport Fergy from Florida to New Jersey.
