Help Sweet Polly Heal – Our Beloved Neighborhood Cat Needs Surgery

Hi friends, neighbors, and fellow animal lovers,

We’re reaching out on behalf of our sweet cat, Polly – who, if you live anywhere near our Parkway 103, you’ve probably met. Polly is the sweet brown striped cat with a white belly who greets walkers, sunbathes on porches that aren’t hers, and has been known to charm treats (and hearts) from just about everyone. She’s not just our cat – she’s everyone’s cat. We can’t count how many times someone has said, “Oh! Polly is your cat? I love her!”

Unfortunately, Polly was recently injured in an accident and the tip of her tail was badly hurt. After a vet visit, we learned she’ll need surgery to safely amputate part of her tail and ensure she heals without complications or long-term pain.

The surgery and follow-up care are more expensive than we can easily manage right now – especially with some recent changes in our household. Jess recently lost her job, and like so many families, we’re doing our best to make ends meet. This unexpected emergency has added strain to an already tight season.

We know Polly has brought joy, comfort, and a little magic to many people. If you’ve ever had a little moment with her – a rub against your leg, a lazy stretch in your driveway, a sleepy blink from the sidewalk – we’d be so grateful if you’d consider helping us cover the cost of her surgery.
