If you know me, you know recovery work isn’t just something I do — it’s something I believe in. I am currently working in substance use treatment while completing my social work degree. Every day I sit with people who are fighting for their lives, their families, and their futures. Becoming a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) is the next step in strengthening my ability to serve them with competence, ethics, and credibility. I have completed my supervision hours and required training. I am now raising funds to cover my CADC exam and application fees so I can finalize my certification. Recovery changed my life in more ways than I can explain. Now my work is centered on walking alongside others as they find their own path. This certification is not just a title — it represents continued commitment to this field and to the people I serve. If you feel led to contribute, thank you. If you cannot give financially, sharing this fundraiser also means a great deal. I’m grateful for the community that has supported my journey. — Polly
