On July 23rd, we said goodbye to Pollock—our brave, quirky, one-of-a-kind girl.

We'd hoped to help her walk again. But in the end, all we could do was love her fiercely, carry her gently, and lay her to rest beneath a spruce tree on our land, where the forest rains fell soft and steady.

She was family. She was joy. She was home.

We’re still paying off the final vet costs from her care, and it's been a hard hit for our little off grid life.
