Help Poe Get Top Surgery

Hi, my name is Poe! I'm 25 years old, I'm a bisexual butch t-boi with great hair and even better taste in movies, and top surgery is something I have wanted for longer than I knew it to be a thing that is possible.
When I have imagined myself in the future, it has always been with my chest flat and with my body a little more mine, and the waiting and procrastination has been weighing on me more and more heavily as time seems to pass more and more quickly and my body stays the same. I go back and forth on my desire for male hormones, as my view of my own gender has pitched gently and gradually more to the male side of the spectrum (whilst staying ultimately non-binary), but top surgery has always been the thing that I have dreamed about and wanted with gradually increasing desperation.
I have put off raising the money for top surgery for a long time. The thought of asking people for financial help was so mortifying, and in the last few years even more so, where it feels like we're all trying to use whatever we have to help with whatever we can. But if I don't start trying to fund for this, I never will, and I'll only regret the longer I go without trying to do something that will make my body finally and properly feel like mine.
As top surgery costs keep rising in the UK, and as the fleeting possibility of receiving help from the NHS is becoming borderline impossible, I am looking to book this procedure at Clínica 3 de Mayo in Madrid. An initial introduction conversation has let me know that the total cost would come to €5900, which at the time of writing this comes to just above £5000 (5058.68 to be exact). This is quite literally half the cost to get it done in the UK, less than half when you factor in appointment fees and psychological consultations.
Doing this surgery abroad would mean I need to stay in Madrid for the initial 2 weeks of recovery before it would be safe to fly, and so I have factored in an additional £1000 to cover flights, accommodation and basic care whilst I'm there, as well as to anticipate any potential changes to the cost of surgery in the time it takes me to raise it. This is still far more financially viable than the option of pursuing surgery in the UK. Any additional funds raised will be factored into my recovery time, and any leftover once I am back in the UK will be put forward to other top surgery funds.
On top of donations I also plan to be contributing my own money, I work a full time job with part time freelance work on the side, and I am going to be moving in August so right now I am putting money aside in anticipation of deposit and moving costs, but I will be contributing regularly to this fund once I am in my new place and I'm not worried about being ousted.
Thank you for reading, and thank you for helping me finally make this possible.
