Help Pocus get back to performing!
Our favorite piano player, Stephen Michael Pocus was involved in a severe motorcycle accident on Fri, June 4, 2021. While riding his Harley motorcycle, a Jeep Cherokee pulled out in front of him and Stephen hit the front side of the jeep. He flew 10 feet over the hood of the jeep, landing on the other side and breaking his tibia and fibula. He was rushed to UC Davis Health and on Saturday, June 5, 2021 surgeons placed 2 plates in his lower left leg to support his broken tibia and fibula.
For those that know Stephen, you know he is the life of the party, always ready with his quick humor, a great brother to his 5 siblings, and a faithful, loving friend.
Stephen has a very long and painful road ahead of him on his path to recovery. As many of you know, he works at Natomas Music Square as a piano instructor, and also performs with The Fryed Brothers Band.
Due to this injury, he will have a diminished ability to work his normal job and will need help with living expenses, medical expenses, and therapies that are not covered by his insurance during his recovery process.
It is our hope to ease his financial stress, with the help of family and friends, so he can focus on successful treatment with as little outside concern as possible.
