Recently, in November, I lost one of my bunnies, Bim. He passed away due to an illness he had prior to me adopting him. His loss has been incredibly painful, not only for me, but also for my other bunny, Pochi, who was deeply bonded to him.
Since Bim’s passing, Pochi has shown clear signs of grief and depression. He became quieter, less playful, and spent more time withdrawn. Sadly, during this vulnerable time, Pochi’s immune system appears to have weakened, and he has now developed symptoms consistent with a respiratory infection.
Pochi has been sneezing, has nasal discharge, and has stopped eating normally, which is especially dangerous for rabbits and requires urgent veterinary care. He needs diagnostic testing, medication, and close monitoring from a veterinarian to give him the best chance at recovery.
I am doing everything I can for Pochi, but the cost of emergency and specialized exotic vet care is more than I can manage alone. I am asking for help so I can get him the treatment he needs as soon as possible and relieve his pain and discomfort.
Pochi is gentle, loving, and has already been through so much loss. I don’t want him to suffer or be taken from me because of financial limitations. Any donation, no matter the size, would mean the world to us. Even sharing this fundraiser helps more than you know.
Thank you for reading, supporting, and caring about Pochi.
