I’m making this gofundme to get out of a toxic living situation that i’m currently in. the stress of this situation lead to me being admitted in the emergency room for 4 days. it’s been an ongoing issue but recently it became very bad.

summary of the situation:

I have a roommate that emotionally and psychologically abuses me. on top of that she hasn’t paid rent in over 6 months. building management won’t let me break my lease due to this outstanding balance since we’re on a joint lease. last month I tried to break my lease and move out but ultimately, my building management won’t work with me. i’ve told them about the harassment by my roommate but they still won’t do anything. Currently, that roommate is on a payment plan and the first two payments went through. The end of the payment plan is jan 30th so I hope to break my lease sometime in february and move out march 1.

The main issue:

I have savings from my last gofundme and some from my job. the issue is that it won’t be enough for me to move. I have to pay a $400 lease break fee along with first month rent, security deposit and moving costs. that’s why i’m making this gofundme.

I want to thank everyone in my community for supporting me. i’m sorry i’m always going through something but i really hope that i can build a life where i’m not in constant panic. i think im close to that after i move. i appreciate everyone who donates and shares this gofundme. thank u all so much❤️❤️❤️
