Pluto has been my dream dog since I was a child, and during the isolation of the COVID pandemic, I finally brought him into my life. Born on January 3rd, 2021, Pluto has been my constant companion, traveling everywhere with me and filling my days with laughter and love. His playful personality and loyal presence have helped me through some of my loneliest moments, and I truly can’t imagine life without him.

Recently, while playing his favorite game of fetch, Pluto tore his ACL. Since then, he hasn’t been able to put any weight on his back leg. Watching him struggle to get around, unable to climb stairs or play, has been heartbreaking. English bulldogs already carry a lot of weight, and seeing Pluto become lethargic and sad is incredibly difficult. I’ve consulted with two vets and a highly experienced surgeon, all of whom agree that surgery is the best option to restore his quality of life. The procedure and recovery will be extensive, but it’s the only way for Pluto to return to his joyful, goofy self.
