Please help me in getting Pluto the treatment he needs before he has to be euthanized. Pluto is a 3 year old cat i’ve had since he was only a few weeks old. About a week ago, he suddenly stopped eating. After a few days of no change, I took him to the vet. After being examined and having bloodwork done they found that his potassium levels were really high and that he was really dehydrated. They could not figure out why he stopped eating but they said that he now has fatty liver disease and is on the verge of liver failure. He needs IV fluids and to be heavily monitored. A couple hours worth of treatment and testing alone is $1500 which we cannot afford. They also said he needs to be taken to a 24hr hospital that can monitor him for a few days which who knows how much will cost. If he cannot get this treatment, he has to be euthanized.

Pluto is the sweetest most beautiful little boy you could ever meet. Anyone whose ever met him has said how much of a sweet and friendly cat he is. He is a chatty boy who loves to cuddle. He’s the kind of cat that walks around parties asking everyone for scratches. I have never had a cat who genuinley crawls up to hug me while I sleep. I love him so much and I truly cannot imagine letting him go. He loves food and he loves to play.

My family is currently in an incredible financial crises and we cannot afford the care here needs so here I am begging for any ounce of help I can get. I am currently looking for low cost hospitals that can give him his treatment at a more affordable rate. I have applied for vet loans/credit cards and have been denied and I am left with no other options. I am doing everything I can but time is running short.

He’s not himself. He hasn’t purred in days. Please help me I cannot lose Pluto.
