Hi everyone, my name is Dash and I am the owner of Plant Daddy.

I never thought I would be in this situation, but here I am asking for help. Six years ago, I started Plant Daddy during the pandemic. I was, for the most part, an orphan who had a great aunt that I considered my mom. She passed on June 1st, and I started the business on the day of her passing as a remembrance of her while celebrating love and life. For the past six years, I have worked tirelessly to build Plant Daddy, and this business is my life's work. I have always said Plant Daddy saved my life and has always been my number one cheerleader. For those of you who know me, you know how much I love my business and how much work I have put into it. I have always been able to figure things out on my own and worked hard all my life, but right now I am facing the toughest challenge and need your help. I am being forced to vacate my current location due to city issues and the cost of rent. I have less than 30 days to find a new location and logistically move a fully operating nursery. We estimate the cost of moving will be between $60,000-$80,000, and we were not financially prepared for this.

Securing new commercial location: First, last, security.

Site preparation: Essential water/sewer installation, flooring, structures, permitting, and land clearing.

Logistics: Cranes and towing to safely move our containers, inventory, and merchandise.

Operations: Purchasing new infrastructures and keeping my dedicated employees on payroll during the transition.

Without community support, the cost of this necessary relocation threatens to shut my doors.
