In the Las Oncas Reserve, on the Osa Peninsula, the most biodiverse place on Earth, this vision is becoming reality.

We recently protected a 504 acres area made up of two distinct landscapes: one part is primary rainforest, untouched and full of life; the other is an old cattle pasture, once completely cleared of trees. Now, we have the chance to bring that open land back to life. Our mission is simple: plant 2,000 native trees to restore the forest and give the biodiversity of this unique region the home it deserves.

What Your Donation Achieves

$100 → 5 trees and shelter for hundreds of insects, birds, and mammals.

Why $40,000?

Planting a tree means much more than putting a seed in the ground.

It involves:

Selecting and raising native species adapted to the rainforest.

Preparing the soil after years of overgrazing.

Providing 3 years of care to ensure survival (watering, animal protection, replacing dead saplings).

Engaging the local community in every step.
