Help Plangdi Attend the Tin House Autumn Workshop!

Hello!

I'm Plangdi, a Nigerian writer of speculative fiction. I am so thrilled to have been accepted into the Tin House Autumn online workshop (fiction with Lesley Nneka Arimah!). This is truly an incredible opportunity to grow as a writer, connect with other storytellers, and learn from an author who’s inspired me for a very long time.

To attend, I need help covering the cost of tuition, which is $800. Any contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward making this opportunity possible. A writers' workshop will be a significant strain on my finances; the exchange rate of Dollar to Naira isn’t great, and the tuition equals roughly three times my monthly income.

Tin House is tremendously exciting for me, and would be an important next step in furthering my career. My work centers queer narratives and everything that encompasses, and I intend to do everything to ensure these stories are the best they can be.
