Hey everyone , my names Jose Luis I go by PK, I’m a 32 year old Immigrant who was brought to San Francisco at 1 years old and worked hard to keep me and my family living in SF. I consider myself an SF Native regardless of my Immigration status and try to always be there for my Community .

Im currently fighting for my life and for Disability to help with expenses .

I was Diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver back in May 2023 and have been trying to recover while having to balance a full time job , last month December 2023 I was told due to all of the medication I am taking to help my liver , has now caused my kidneys to fail . I’m

Currently suffering from severe acidis (water retention ) which makes it hard for me to get up and move around comfortably and not allowing me the chance to work my full time job . My only option right now for money is to go on disability but it has been a difficult fight due to being and illegal immigrant .

I’m hoping I can get financial support to help with mostly rent and medical bills . Unfortunately SF rent is barley manageable regularly , but not being able to work would put me and my family in a hardship with our expenses .

I’m very independent and I am the last person to ever ask for help , I actually hate asking people for stuff but I’m at my last hope and need to make sure I take care of my health without having to stress off of monthly bills . Any support big or small is appreciated.
