My name is PJ, and I am a 48-year-old father of four who has worked hard my entire life to provide for my family. Over the past couple of years, I have faced a series of unexpected health challenges that have made it difficult to keep up both physically and financially. I am currently in need of a necessary surgery that my insurance will not fully cover.

I was diagnosed with nephrotic syndrome. Which is a kidney disorder that causes my body to excrete excessive protein in the urine. This has caused fluid retention in my face, abdomen, feet and ankles. Making it very hard to do daily tasks. This has forced me to cut back on working. The many medications I have been taking are not helping anymore.

I have been working closely with my kidney Doctors who have advised that a sleeve gastrectomy is medically necessary for me to lose weight and protect my health. Without this procedure, my condition can worsen and potentially lead to kidney failure.

Despite doing everything I can to manage expenses and stay on top of my responsibilities, the cost of this procedure is more than my family can afford on our own. I am reaching out to respectfully ask for any assistance, guidance, or resources you may be able to provide. My goal is simply to get through this difficult time, recover my health, and continue supporting my family.
