Hi my name is PJ and I am asking for some social help with my college payments. Following the passing of my mother, I unexpectedly transitioned into adulthood without a pre-established financial plan or support system.

In 2021, I dedicated 12 months to an AmeriCorps position, which provided a $6,000 grant upon completion of my service. This fund has since been depleted, and I have consistently managed my finances on a month-to-month basis throughout my adult life.

Despite these challenges, I am pleased to report that I have diligently worked to reduce my student loan balance to a remaining $20,000.

After going through a period of grief and depression, I am now proactively seeking support, for a future I know i will be in.

How will this help?

By paying off one of my smaller loans, I hope to reduce my monthly payment obligations. This would really help my financial burden, hopefully getting to a place where I can start a savings.
