Help PJ get a service dog.
Donation protected
Hi Friends!
As some of you already know my son PJ has a rare disease called Tuberous Sclerosis. As well as having TSC, he also has been diagnosed with Epilepsy. It is very common to have Epilepsy with TSC.
TSC causes Tubors to grow on vital organs.
TSC can cause seizures, developmental delays, autism, etc. TSC also causes the most dangerous type of seizure in children- Infantile Spasms. PJ had Infantile Spasms but they were thankfully cured by medication.
PJ has a handful of Tubors On the brain, & 3 on the heart. The Tubors are causing him to have seizures. Thankfully, PJ has only had one BIG seizure but that’s one too many.
Pj has EEGS often. They still show abnormal backgrounds meaning he is at risk of having seizures.
Recently PJs focal seizures have came back.
60% of kid’s with TSC never gain seizure control!
While they seemed to be controlled for a little bit it’s very important that PJ has this dog so that we will know.
Sometimes the seizures are so subtle you wouldn’t be able to notice. With the help of a service dog PJ wouldn’t have to suffer and we won’t have to worry.
If PJ could get this service dog it would be life changing for us. Every night he goes to bed I check on him multiple times to make sure he’s okay and not seizing.
Having the help from a service dog would be life changing. These dogs can “pre-alert”... They can tell hours before a seizure is about to happen.
The amount to get the dog is 14,500.
Please do not feel obligated to donate. Sharing is just as important to us.
We really appreciate it!
❤️
Love,
PJ, Taylor, and Patrick.
