Hi, My name is Paula J or as many of you know me as, PJ, on twitter. It's been super nice and fun to meet you and befriend many of you throughout the years!

As many of you know, I'm a LGBTQ+ woman (specifically lesbian). I've been living and working in the Bay Area, California my whole life and currently work as an AI illustrator for a small book company, but it's not much pay. Living in the Bay Area is astronomically high and super difficult to survive in, as you may already know.

I have identified as a lesbian my whole life, ever since I was 5 years old (ever since I had a thought, tbh.) With it came challenges, of course. Recently, I came out to my family in hopes to share my struggles and personal life with them. Hoping it would turn out better it was actually my worst nightmare. My parents were enraged, my siblings taking their side, and they cut me off completely. (They are very conservative.) I am left alone to find housing for myself, find a new job (because my job was connected to my family), and also escape several kinds of ab*se associated with my family.

I'm in need of funds to escape my violent family situation, find a better job, and settle in for myself. Please consider helping me! It is quite an emergency for me. :( I deeply appreciate you and your help.
