Help PJ Come home

Hello everyone,

My name is PJ and i am a 12 year old Dudley Labradore . Earlier this morning I escaped my yard to take myself for a walk, but I was hit by a car on a main road and hurt myself pretty badly. Luckily a lovely Vet Nurse saw it happen and was behind the person who hit me so she stopped and took me to her work.

The person who hit me was going 70km an hour and didnt stop, and the impact threw me up in the air and I landed on my head. I have a big wound on the right side of my head and a fractured skull near my right eye socket. The nurses gave me lots of pain medication, antibiotics and special medication for my brain, aswell as taking X-rays to see if anything else was broken and blood tests to see if I had any internal bleeding.

I am having a very big sleep atm to make sure I get the rest I need to make my brain and body work again. Once my brain and body is over the shock and i wake up, my family will know how severe my brain Injury is and whether i will be able to go home to see my family or i will need to say goodbye.

I am a very strong old boy and i heard the nurses say they are very surprised I am still here because they didn't think I would be alive after an hour. Once I am stable I am allowed to travel to another vet where I will need 24 hour intensive care and lots of love and support.

The special care i need is very expensive & Mum and dad are trying to find the money to pay for my vet bills, which are already up to $2000. They have had to sell some of the stuff in my home to go towards bills. Alot of their savings have just Gone on paying for a new home for me to live in with my family even though we are still paying rent where we live now.
