Help Pixie Get Urgent Veterinary Care
Donation protected

Pixie is an amazing, sweet 2-year-old calico forest cat and Maine Coon mix who has brought joy to every path she has crossed. After the death of Oscar, Sarah decided to adopt Coco, who was rejected by the elderly cat Goldie, who often hissed at him. Not wanting Coco to be emotionally affected, Sarah adopted Pixie. Pixie and Coco became inseparable—two peas in a pod, completely smitten with each other. Their friendship brought happiness and comfort to everyone around them.
Sarah was struggling with cancer and often asked me to watch Coco and Pixie because she could no longer take care of them. Eventually, she moved out of state and asked me to adopt both kittens. Even though Sarah is now out-of-state, she will always be Pixie’s co-mother. It has been a joy and honor to have Pixie and Coco as part of my family. Every morning, Pixie greets me with one of her toys, always ready to brighten my day.
Recently, Pixie’s health has taken a sudden turn. She can’t keep any food down and has lost so much weight that I can feel her bones. The symptoms are frighteningly similar to what I saw with Oscar. I have called many vets in the city, but the costs for urgent care and potential treatments are overwhelming. The clinics require payment up front, and without enough funds, Pixie can’t get the tests or care she desperately needs. As someone who has faced financial hardship after losing my job, I’m heartbroken that I can’t provide for her on my own.
Pixie is more than just a pet—she’s a loving friend who has helped both people and pets through tough times. Sarah and I desperately need support. I’m asking for help to cover the urgent veterinary care, tests, and treatments that could save her life. Any support will go directly to her medical bills and give Pixie the chance to recover and continue bringing joy to those around her.
The funds will be used to all of the test. When we know what's wrong with Pixie, we can update the campaign to include the treatment. I have documented her story which includes receipts and estimates.
Thank you for reading her story and considering a donation to help us through this difficult time.
