Our sweet little Pixie is back home.

Her oral surgery was completed, and a tumor was removed from her throat. She has a follow-up visit on Tuesday, May 26, at VCA Veterinary Hospital in Murrieta. Fortunately, the cost of her procedures was much less than originally quoted, just under $2500. We were able to make a payment of $1600 from funds raised by donors. Thank you to all who donated and/or shared this fundraiser. We are looking to raise another $900 to finish covering the cost of her procedures. The follow-up visit has no costs involved, so this should settle the matter.

I have to say that this little emergency has come at a very difficult time for Shea and I. With the recent loss of my father, we're dealing with lawyer and estate costs, and are very unsure of any sources of money at this time.
