On the afternoon of April 15th my 10 year old cat Pixel escaped my home and was attacked by a falcon that flies around my neighborhood. She's currently in the emergency vet now, receiving treatment.
I've had Pixel since she was 6 weeks old, she's been with me through moves, several partners, and all of the ups and downs that come with 10 years of living.
She's been in good health her whole life, aside from an upper respiratory infection when I got her as a baby. Right now they're concerned that there's neurological issues from tail damage, either way she has a long recovery time
She's a skittish cat but she's been my baby her whole life, I can't imagine living without her. My family put forward the money for her initial treatment but there's a risk that she could need her tail amputated if it was neurologically damaged in the attack. She'll need medication and follow up appointments.
I'll need to pay back my family for her treatment and any future retreatments. I am disabled and we already struggle to make ends meet, please consider donating to help my baby recover from her ordeal,
