Hi everyone, my name is Adriana, and I’m reaching out with a humble request for support for my beloved cat, Pisu. He desperately needs help, and I don’t know where else to turn.

I’m a proud cat mom of two boys: Mo, who I’ve had since he was a kitten, and Pisu, who I adopted during COVID when he was 11 years old. While Mo has been healthy and insured, Pisu has had a much harder journey.

Unfortunately, because of his age by the time I rescued him, it was not possible to get him insured, and I’ve taken on the full and complete responsibility for his medical expenses and everything that came with that since then.

Pisu is now 14 years old, and despite his health challenges, he is the most fun, funny, affectionate, engaging and vibrant boy you would ever meet- he still has so much life and love left in him and I am determined to not let that be wasted. Over the past few months, he has battled several issues, the most serious being hyperthyroidism. When his medication stopped being effective, Pisu had to have specialised Radio Iodine Therapy, which cost me over £5000. While recovering, he stopped eating and got sick, so we ended up at emergency for fluids and tests, for further £2000 plus bills. To cover these costs, I’ve had to take out a loan and max out my credit card, which has put me in a really difficult financial position.

Pisu’s journey isn’t over and this is where I desperately need your help. He now requires further tests for his kidneys and heart, along with regular treatments to manage his fluctuating appetite. These upcoming ultrasounds, heart check-ups, and blood tests are completely necessary but costly, and I’m at a point where I physically can’t cover the cost anymore because it’s wiped me out already, so a friend encouraged me to put this page together in the hope that someone might help.

I have always done my best to provide Pisu with the care he deserves, but I simply can’t do it alone anymore. I’ve exhausted all my resources and, in addition to managing this debt, I’m also supporting my parents financially.

I am asking you from the bottom of my heart if you can spare anything at all to help save the life of my beloved boy and give him the remaining years he deserves.

Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to both Pisu and me. I believe he still has many years of love and joy to give, and with your help, we can get him the care he desperately needs.
