Pistachio Hair Wonders, LLC was launched on 2/2014. I am Tasha Garcia the CEO of Pistachio Hair and Body Wonders. I make over 100 products from scratch in my kitchen. My products are natural and organic. In 7/2015 I resigned from my hospital position. My company within a year and a half went global. I was shipping orders to over 16 countries worldwide. In 1/2020 I launched Pistachio Body Wonders. My goal is to bring back my client’s confidence and I cater to all hair and skin types. My products speak for themselves, and the testimonies are beyond amazing. I am extremely passionate about what I do and cannot wait to reach a higher level.

I have been receiving an overwhelming amount of love support. Since 2019, many clients have reached out to me in private wanting to donate or gift tools or supplies for my business. I cannot express my gratitude to all the heartfelt messages and on pouring support. I am a very prideful and a hard-working person. I decided to open this Go Fund Me because of your messages. I will begin to tell my story and I will break it down as the events occurred.

My Apartment 

In 2019 to 2022, it flooded damaging me and my family's belongings. Between the excessive heat and cold I do not know what is worst at this point. This plays a huge role for me business as I work from home. This is the fourth time they have to come in to my home and fix. They landlords want us to live in my our home while they do the repair. I have steam leaks in my entire home. No one should have to live in this situation it is inhumane and deplorable conditions. In 2021, I had the most damage where a pipe broke and the steam messed up my entire apartment. I had to leave my belongings in the hallway and I am not going to endure that again. 

It is now 2022 and unfortunately I am back in the same predicament but worst. No one wants to help us. I have called the news, went to court which the date is in almost a month away in April. I am honestly scared for me and my family's life. There is also mood and many other hazardous conditions. I did not want to post about this but I have no choice. The temperature in my home is over 116 or below 40 degrees. I have called the city as well to make complaints. On March 25, I called 911 and the fire department came. There was smoke coming through a whole from my son's wall. I am going to post videos and pictures. 

The issue is if the scammers would not have done those fraudulent chargebacks I would have been able to move. Going through these two situations have been the worst my family and I have endured. So I am still going through the effects of the chargebacks and dealing with my apartment situation. This is a personal and a business problem because I work from home. 

 

2019

In March 2019, I lost everything due to scammers and multiple chargebacks. The bank decided in the client’s favor although I presented all the evidence needed. I lost everything I did not have a penny to my name. When they took the money out my account, I did not even have money for shipping or to order supplies. My business wasn’t as active as before. In 2019, my company financially was at its worst. I started to work for a cleaning company and I became a dog walker. I had to get other means of work because I wasn’t making money. I could not pay for my product labels which are expensive. I lost my website, I could not pay for my business expenses due to my bank account being wiped out completely. During the holidays it picked up but not so much. 

 

2020

In 1/2020 I started Pistachio Body Wonders and my soaps were a huge hit. Once Covid-19 hit it is like reality hit hard. I had to bring down my prices due to the loss of jobs. I was barely making a profit, but I had to do what I needed to do just to keep afloat. Feeding my family, paying bills and keeping my business open was my first priority. The shipping, supplies and shortages really put me in a rut. The extended time of shipping, damaged packages, packages not being delivered after being shipped for months really took a toll on my business. Let me not forgot to mention the worldwide shortages of supplies also was a huge setback. The number of chargebacks I received was even more than the prior year. I was not only losing money but I also my products. I hired help, unfortunately I had to let her go as well, because I could not afford to pay her. Not to mention I still have not recovered from 2019.

2021 

In 2021, we received fraudulent orders and even more chargebacks. I still continue to work hard regardless the hurdle. This year my finances hit rock bottom and my business took a huge toll. I have always been clear and transparent about the bad, good and ugly in a business. Since I went Live on my business page about the scammers and chargebacks many of my clients wanted to help. My clients have always loved me for being me and what really goes behind business. Recently, I have received more messages so I decided to open this campaign. 

In 2022, we endured so much between the scammers and the damage in our home. My son lost everything in his room. We lost everything in the bathroom and other items. We are in court with the landlord. It is now July and we have not been compensated at all for any of our damaged belongings. Not to mention I did not work for over 3 months this year due to the situation. Financially we have hit rock bottom. This situation has caused delays in shipping my orders and not being able to work. I have been back to work since May.

 

The Issue:

As a small business owner, I can’t afford to lose not even a penny. When your company hits a certain level on your payment provider you can start getting capitol loans. Unfortunately, due to all the fraudulent chargebacks I cannot get a capitol loan. I was denied for the PPP Loans and the EDIL Target. Loans. I was able to get 1 loan, but it could not cover all the expenses. Whenever you receive a chargeback or even worse a reversal that does not get cleared up to 90 days. It does not matter if a charge is $3, it is the long term affects that cause severe damage. The clients are not only receiving their funds back, but I am also getting charged a chargeback fee, a payment provider fee and not being able to get a loan. I have not been able to get a capital loan since the beginning of this year. This year I hit rock bottom because of all the chargebacks and the extreme increases of prices for my business expenses.

 

The Plan and Solution:

With the funds provided,

1. Get my labels redone and printed for my products.

2. Catch up on my orders.

3. Marketing

3. Purchase inventory.

4. Hire Help

5. Purchase commercial tools to speed up production.

6. Go back to our normal processing and shipping time frame.

7. Move to a better living environment for my family and my business

9. Find a work space
