In an unexpected turn of events, our sweet beloved Pippy is in need of an emergency surgery. In her normal carefree spirit, she was playing fetch with her favorite lamb chop aka “Dino”, jumped up to catch it and dislocated her hip in her back right hind leg. We brought her to our trusted vet, who said she is in need of immediate surgery. The surgeon will need to perform femoral head ostectomy (FSO) surgery to remove the bone joint that connects her leg from her hip to give her the ability to walk again.

Pippy is such a huge part of our lives and a key member of our family, she is the definition of love and happiness and has so much life left in her. Her beautiful spirit ignites everyone with joy that she comes in contact with, from family and friends to people walking by on the street and at the park. We love her more than anything in the world, and this has been beyond heartbreaking. In our current financial state, we cannot afford her $6000 dollar surgery alone... As hard as it is, we are asking help from our closest family and friends as well as our community to get our Pippy girl back to full health, out of pain and walking again.
