I never thought I’d have to write one of these...

Many of you know Giuseppe or “Pippo”, who co-owned and operated Central Pizza in Red Lion; making dough, flipping pizzas, baking bread, and greeting customers with a smile daily for nearly 2 decades. If you’ve enjoyed Central Pizza at any point since the late 90s, chances are, Pippo had a hand in preparing your meal.

Unfortunately, last month, Pippo was diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive form of cancer called Angiosarcoma found in his liver. Only ~1,000 people are diagnosed with Angiosarcoma in the US annually requiring specialized treatment. He has a long road ahead.

Central Pizza may be unexpectedly closed over the course of Pippo’s treatment when there just aren’t enough hands to run service as my family and I are doing everything we can to support him — financially, emotionally, and physically; but we cannot do it alone.

We’re raising funds to help with medical expenses, lost wages, and everyday bills during this extremely difficult time. I know times are tough for everyone, but any amount you can give — big or small — means the world.
